Elizabeth Coleman

Elizabeth Ufot Coleman is a seasoned executive, corporate attorney, and crisis management expert with extensive experience across multiple industries, including oil and gas, defense, fashion, beauty, and retail.

Elizabeth began her legal career in the energy sector, holding Legal and Corporate Compliance roles at prominent companies such as GE Oil & Gas, BP, and Exterran. Transitioning to the fashion and beauty industries, Elizabeth served as Director and Senior Counsel for JCPenney, Sephora, and Target — where she led business operations, ESG initiatives, compliance governance, and ethics strategies. Elizabeth transitioned to sports and served as Chief Compliance Officer, Deputy General Counsel, and Senior Vice President for Varsity Brands, a Bain Capital portfolio company, overseeing legal and compliance functions. In this role, Elizabeth played a pivotal part in the launch of Varsity Beauty.

Elizabeth is currently Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for UK’s largest development firm and US Department of Defense contractor, Balfour Beatty.
